About our HaHa Flow instructor:
Trish Kane Steele returns to Twin Rivers Dance Academy to share her passion for yoga and dance. Teaching and being in front of an audience has always been a part of her world. After earning a teaching degree in health and physical education, she spent ten years as a singer/dancer in the musical theater industry, teaching dance and performing. As a result of that experience, she earned a teaching certification in the performing arts.
After moving from NYC to the Lehigh Valley, her experiences included; presentational speaker for the Weller Center for Health Education, Director of Warren County Performing Arts School, Artistic director of Twin Rivers Invitational Theater, Artistic director for Phillipsburg Summer Youth Theater, and founder of the drama clubs at Lopatcong Township Schools. In the last 20 years, she has directed and choreographed thirty-five shows!
Many years ago, a back injury allowed her to focus on yoga as a restorative and healing practice and in 2013, she completed her 200 hour teacher training to become a certified yoga teacher. For the past three years, she has been sharing her passion for yoga with the students at Easton Yoga Studio. Ms. Steele has found over time, slowly, the practice of asana, breathe, and meditation to be very healing and helpful in maintaining balance in her life.
Trish has completed her Master’s degree in education, her thesis focused on the kinesthetic learner. She is currently working on a second master’s degree in Educational Leadership and is an elementary health and physical education teacher for the Lopatcong Township School District.
